This site is a shop window, not a data business. No accounts, no forms, nothing for sale online. Below is exactly what little happens when you visit.

01

Who we are

The Wedding Paraguay is a wedding photography and film studio based in Asunción, Paraguay. This page covers this website and nothing else: it doesn't speak for our social accounts or for anywhere else you might find us.

02

What we don't do

There are no user accounts. There are no forms. Nowhere on this site do we ask for your name, your email or your phone number.

We don't buy or sell mailing lists, we don't run targeted ads, and we don't hand your information to anyone. We'd have nowhere to put it either: this site is static files, with no database behind them.

03

The only thing we measure

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which country they arrive from and which pages they read. It's Google's tool: Google processes the data, on Google's terms. What we see are totals — how many, from where, what they read — never a particular person.

To do that, Google Analytics stores its own cookies in your browser; they exist so you aren't counted twice if you come back tomorrow. It uses your IP address to work out which city you're in and, according to its documentation, doesn't store it. We send Google nothing about you, because we have nothing.

04

How to turn it off

If you'd rather not be counted, there are three ways and none of them offend us: the tracking protection already built into most browsers, the opt-out add-on Google publishes for Analytics, or whichever blocker you already use.

What you won't find is a cookie banner asking permission to ask you again tomorrow. Telling you on one page what the site does seemed more honest than making you dismiss a window nobody reads.

05

When you message us on WhatsApp

The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp. It's a Meta service and it runs on Meta's policies, not this one. Tapping it sends nothing of yours anywhere: it just opens a conversation.

From there, your message and your number sit on our phone, the same as with anyone else you write to. We use them to answer you, and to plan your wedding if we end up working together. Nothing else. And if we ever sign something, your data gets spelled out there, in full, not on this page.

06

Nothing else loads from outside

Apart from Google Analytics and the link to WhatsApp, this site pulls nothing from third parties. The typefaces and the images are hosted here. There are no social pixels, no embedded maps, no chat widget, no comments, no ads.

07

Server logs

Like every website, the server hosting this one records the requests it receives: date, IP address, browser. It's the minimum needed to get the page onto your screen and to keep attacks out. Our hosting provider keeps them for a short while, and we don't cross-reference them with anything or use them to profile you.

08

Your rights

Paraguay's personal data protection law gives you, among other things, the right to know what data we hold about you, to correct it and to ask us to delete it.

The honest answer today is that your visit to this site leaves us with none. If you've messaged us on WhatsApp and you want that conversation gone, ask and it's gone.

09

If this changes

The day this site asks you for a single detail — if we add a contact form, say — this page gets rewritten before the form exists, not after. The date at the top says when we last touched it.

Something not adding up?

If any part of this doesn't make sense, or you want us to delete something of yours, say so. There's a person on the other end.
