The experience
We don't direct your wedding. We watch it.
The best images aren't asked for: they happen. Our job is to stay close and quiet, so that twenty years from now you can return to that day and find all of it. The hands that shook. Your grandmother laughing. The light at seven in the evening.
Photography and film, always together. They're two ways of looking at the same thing, and neither replaces the other: the photograph stops time, the film gives back movement and voice.

There are two of us, Iris and Mitchell, and we shoot forty-eight weddings a year. Enough to know every venue by heart and never be caught off guard; never so many that we'd send someone else in our place.
